How we work

The Gola Forest Programme employs 80 full time staff, all but 2 being Sierra Leonean. Currently based in our offices in Kenema this impressive team is working towards achieving the aims of the Gola Forest Programme to protect the forest and support community development. In order to achieve these aims the project is split into 6 departments, which are overseen by a Protected Area Manager with guidance and support from an internationally recruited Project Leader.
